Making a first trip with a hiking company that we do not yet know is always a decision that involves a certain risk: until the trip is made, we do not know if the covered routes and the visited areas are interesting, if the accommodation and the gastronomy are going to be of quality and, what is fundamental, if the professionalism and the quality of the service of the new hiking company are going to be of the desired level. The customer has to rely on the information on the website, as well as on the testimonials that other customers have allegedly left behind…

• We are a young company, but with a great deal of experience:
  We have spent our entire lives preparing and carrying out mountain routes and hiking holidays for ourselves, for friends, for our own mountain club and, for a few years now, also for clients like you.
• Maximum flexibility:
  Whenever possible, we try to offer maximum flexibility in our trips, both in the dates and duration of the trip, being able to add extra days to the initially established travel program.
• We are a local hiking company:
  We are in San Sebastian, in the north of Spain, where we were born and where we live. We know our land, our culture, our customs, our mountains and all the corners of our geography perfectly. All this is essential to be able to organize the best trip because something is always lost in the process if you design it from a distance, without knowing the environment. Therefore, no one better than us to organize a hiking holiday in this area.
• We know our land:
  We only offer routes in the area where we live or in the nearby surrounding areas and that we know perfectly well and where we have carried out all our mountaineering activity for years. We don't want to offer trips in areas we are not completely familiar with as it is not possible to offer the client the best service without the essential local knowledge.
• The ideal area for hiking and mountaineering:
  The north of Spain is a highly developed tourist area. That's why, in addition to its beautiful mountain paths and stunning landscapes; it offers everything the visitor could wish for:
  • An enormous network of different accommodation options to stay overnight,
  • A huge variety of places of natural, tourist or cultural interest to visit,
  • A wide range of sport, leisure and adventure activities to be carried out and
  • The world-renowned Basque gastronomy and its famous pintxos.
• We work with few clients:
  We are not a huge hiking company that works with thousands of customers. On the contrary, at Walking North Spain we work with a restricted number of clients. Every one of them is of the utmost importance to us and, therefore, all the resources of our agency are dedicated to the individual client. Thus, you can be sure that your trip would be the most important thing for us to look after at that time.
• Direct customer service from the agency leading manager:
  In that sense, your trip would be designed and coordinated personally by the agency Director who would assume all responsibility for the trip directly. Therefore, he would be the organizer of your trip and the one who would be in constant contact with you, taking care of even the smallest detail.
• Each client is unique and special:
  At Walking North Spain we attach great importance to the trust that our customers place in us when they choose us. Whenever new clients come for the first time we think that, in principle, this may be the only time they can visit our area and that's why do our best to make sure that people make the most of their trip, not only making them enjoy some of our beautiful routes, but also making the most of each day of their stay with us, living unique and enriching experiences that make their trip complete, intense and unforgettable. • We take care that our prices are also in good shape:
  At Walking North Spain, we not only take care of our customers, we also take great care over our prices as much as possible. We always try to offer the best trips at very reasonable and affordable prices. The fact that we do not have a large and heavy staff structure in the company helps us to keep operational costs low, as a consequence, to be able to offer our customers better prices.
• We select accommodations in person:
  Our local travel agency status allows us to select the best accommodations in person, not on the Internet. We have been using them for years, visit them regularly and have direct contact with their managers. That's why we know these are perfect places to stay in.
• We take care of absolutely everything:
  From the first to the last small detail. With the highest level of responsibility and extreme thoroughness. Of course, in addition to guiding on our beautiful mountain routes, we take care of finding and booking the best accommodation, organizing all meals, moving your luggage, coordinating all transfers, including those necessary to get here from the nearby airports, as well as proposing and carrying out cultural, tourist and gastronomic activities that make the trip complete and unforgettable. That way, all you have to worry about is enjoying your trip to the fullest.
• Local guides:
  Our guides, of course, are also local, which is essential in order to provide maximum knowledge and security to our customers.
